Growing Chipotle’s Fundraiser Activities from 1,000 events per year to 1,000 per week

At Chipotle, I saw an opportunity to unlock the untapped potential of the fundraiser program and worked collaboratively with the team to turn it into a key initiative. By focusing on market-level strategies, streamlining operations, developing comprehensive materials and training, and launching a custom web platform, we transformed the program into a powerful driver of growth and community connection.

Together, we grew fundraiser revenues from approximately $100K to $20M annually and increased the number of fundraisers from around 1,000 per year to over 1,000 per week. We also reduced labor costs for fundraiser events by about 60% and strengthened community ties across 2,300+ locations. It was a team effort that delivered meaningful results for both Chipotle and the communities we serve.
